Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you purchase and use Swiss Career Check and the Swiss Career Check Diagnostic.
Last updated · 21 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of swisscareercheck.com and your purchase and use of Swiss Career Check and the Swiss Career Check Diagnostic.
By purchasing Swiss Career Check or the Swiss Career Check Diagnostic, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Seller
Swiss Career Check and the Swiss Career Check Diagnostic are sold and operated by:
MB Malkorita
Šiauliai, Lithuania
Email: hello@swisscareercheck.com
Website: swisscareercheck.com
2. Our products and services
We offer two products and services under the Swiss Career Check name. They are described below and are referred to together in these Terms as our “products and services”.
Swiss Career Check (digital product)
Swiss Career Check is a digital assessment and decision-support product designed to help international professionals evaluate factors that may affect their ability to pursue employment in Switzerland.
The product considers areas including work authorization, language, profession, qualifications, experience, market competitiveness, salary and role expectations.
Swiss Career Check Diagnostic (personalised one-to-one session)
The Swiss Career Check Diagnostic (the “Diagnostic”) is a personalised, one-to-one, 60-minute online session focused on your actual Swiss job search. It is a review of your own search. It is not generic career coaching.
As part of the Diagnostic, we may review information and materials that you supply, including your CV or resume, LinkedIn profile, target roles and locations, applications and job descriptions, application volume and response rate, interview results, cover letters or application examples, recruiter feedback or rejection correspondence, and other documents or information relevant to your Swiss job search.
The purpose of the Diagnostic is to identify where your Swiss job search may be losing opportunities, to explain the likely reasons based on the available evidence, and to identify practical priorities for what to change next.
Both products and services
Our products and services provide information, analysis and structured guidance. They are not a recruitment service, employment agency, employment placement service, legal service, immigration advisory service or tax advisory service.
3. No employment guarantee
Neither Swiss Career Check nor the Diagnostic guarantees that you will:
- receive interviews;
- receive a job offer;
- obtain employment in Switzerland;
- qualify for a particular position;
- obtain a visa, work permit or residence permit;
- achieve a particular salary or career outcome.
Hiring decisions are made independently by employers and may depend on factors that cannot be assessed or controlled by Swiss Career Check.
Our products and services are intended to help you make better-informed decisions about your Swiss job search, not to predict an individual employer’s decision. In particular, the Diagnostic is based on the information and materials available to us and does not guarantee that any change you make to your CV, LinkedIn profile or applications will lead to a particular result.
4. Information and accuracy
We aim to provide useful and accurate information and analysis, based on the information available when Swiss Career Check is prepared or updated and, for the Diagnostic, on the information and materials available to us when we prepare and hold your session.
However, employment markets, immigration rules, salary levels, employer requirements and other conditions may change.
Information and analysis provided through our products and services should therefore not be treated as legal, immigration, tax, financial or other professional advice.
Where your decision depends on current legal or regulatory requirements, you should verify those requirements with the relevant authority or qualified professional.
5. Price and payment
The current price of each product or service is displayed on the website before purchase.
Prices are displayed in the currency stated on the relevant product or service page and at checkout. The price displayed at checkout is the price that applies to your order.
Payment is processed securely through Stripe Checkout.
Your purchase is completed once payment has been successfully processed and your order has been confirmed.
Any mandatory taxes or charges applicable to your purchase will be displayed where required during the purchase process.
Under Lithuanian and European Union consumer law, the total price payable, including relevant taxes and charges, must be clearly communicated to consumers before they place an order.
6. Access and delivery
Swiss Career Check (digital product)
Swiss Career Check is a digital product.
After successful payment, you will receive immediate or prompt digital access through the method indicated during checkout or in your purchase confirmation.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and ensuring that you can receive communications relating to your purchase.
If you have successfully paid but cannot access the product, contact: hello@swisscareercheck.com
Swiss Career Check Diagnostic
The Diagnostic is delivered in the following steps:
- You pay for the Diagnostic through Stripe Checkout.
- After successful payment, you complete the Diagnostic intake, submit the relevant documents and information, and confirm the request described in section 7.2(c) by ticking the box on the intake form.
- Once your intake has been successfully received, you receive access to book your session.
- The 60-minute one-to-one session takes place online via Google Meet at the time you booked.
You are responsible for providing accurate and sufficiently complete information and materials for us to prepare the Diagnostic. Please submit only information that is relevant to your Swiss job search, and make sure that you are entitled to share it (for example, where it includes correspondence with employers or recruiters).
If the information or materials you submit are insufficient, we may ask you for additional information before the session.
You are also responsible for providing a valid email address, for being able to receive our communications and booking confirmations, and for having an internet connection and device suitable for joining a Google Meet session at the scheduled time.
If you have paid but cannot complete the intake or book your session, contact: hello@swisscareercheck.com
7. Refunds, cancellations and rescheduling
This section sets out separate rules for Swiss Career Check (section 7.1) and for the Diagnostic (section 7.2).
7.1 Swiss Career Check (digital product)
Because Swiss Career Check is a digital product made available after purchase, purchases are generally final and non-refundable once digital access has been provided, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where the product cannot be supplied as described.
If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from accessing the product, contact us so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.
Consumers in Lithuania and the European Union may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. For digital content, this right may not apply where you have expressly agreed to immediate access and acknowledged that you will lose the right of withdrawal.
7.2 Swiss Career Check Diagnostic
The Diagnostic is a service, not digital content. The rules below apply to the Diagnostic only. The digital-content rules in section 7.1 apply to Swiss Career Check only. If you buy both, each purchase is treated separately.
(a) Cancelling or rescheduling a booked session
You can cancel or reschedule a booked Diagnostic session without charge until 24 hours before its scheduled start time, using the link in your booking confirmation or by emailing hello@swisscareercheck.com.
If you ask to cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, or if you do not attend the session, the session will be treated as a used session. In that case we are not required to offer a replacement session or a refund. If a genuine emergency prevents you from attending, you can ask us for a new time; we may agree, but we are not obliged to.
If we have to cancel or reschedule a session, we will offer you a replacement time or, where appropriate (for example, where we cannot offer a time that works for you), a refund of the price you paid for the Diagnostic.
This policy about appointments is a commercial policy. It is subject to your statutory rights described in (b) to (f) below.
(b) Statutory right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer in Lithuania or elsewhere in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from the Diagnostic contract within 14 days without giving a reason. For a service contract, the withdrawal period generally starts on the day the contract is concluded, that is, when your purchase is confirmed.
To withdraw, tell us clearly that you withdraw, for example by email to hello@swisscareercheck.com. You may use the EU model withdrawal form, but you do not have to. It is enough to send your notice before the withdrawal period ends.
If you validly withdraw, we will refund the payments you made for the Diagnostic without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method you used to pay, subject to (c) below.
(c) If you ask us to begin the service during the withdrawal period
Before your Diagnostic begins, the intake form asks you to tick a box confirming that you expressly request that the Diagnostic begins before the 14-day withdrawal period has ended, that you understand you lose your right of withdrawal once the Diagnostic has been fully provided, and that you must pay a proportionate amount if you withdraw after it has begun. We record your request and send you a copy by email, so that you have it on a durable medium. Booking or attending a session does not by itself mean that you have made this request or given up any statutory right. If you would rather that we begin only after the withdrawal period has ended, email hello@swisscareercheck.com instead of submitting the intake form, and we will not begin work on your Diagnostic until it has ended.
If you have made that request and then withdraw during the withdrawal period, you must pay an amount proportionate to what has been provided up to the moment you told us of your withdrawal, compared with the full contract. That amount will not exceed the price of the Diagnostic. If none of the Diagnostic has been provided at that point, you will not owe anything.
If you have not made an express request for the service to begin, or we have not given you the information that the law requires, you will not owe any payment for services provided during the withdrawal period.
(d) Service already fully provided
You may lose the right of withdrawal once the Diagnostic has been fully provided, but only if you expressly requested that it begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledged, before it began, that you would lose the right of withdrawal once we have fully performed it. A session that has been booked but has not yet taken place is not a fully provided service.
(e) Customers who are not consumers
The statutory withdrawal rights in (b) to (d) apply to consumers. If you buy the Diagnostic for business purposes, the commercial policy in (a) applies, together with any rights you have under applicable law.
(f) Mandatory law prevails
Nothing in this section 7.2 waives or limits any mandatory consumer right under Lithuanian or European Union law. Where mandatory law gives you a right to withdraw, to a refund or to any other remedy, that right applies even if it differs from the commercial policy in (a). Merely booking a session does not automatically remove any statutory right of withdrawal or refund. For example, if you ask to cancel a session less than 24 hours before it while your 14-day withdrawal period is still running, you can still withdraw under (b), and (c) then applies to any amount you owe. The 24-hour rule in (a) does not affect those rights.
Refunds
Refunds are made to the original payment method. The time it takes for the money to reach your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.
8. Personal-use licence
Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use Swiss Career Check for your own personal career assessment.
You may not:
- resell or redistribute the product;
- share your access with other people;
- reproduce substantial parts of the product for distribution;
- publish the product online;
- upload or distribute copies through file-sharing services;
- use the product to create or sell a competing product;
- remove copyright or ownership notices.
Purchasing Swiss Career Check does not transfer ownership of the product or its intellectual property to you.
The Diagnostic is provided to you personally for your own Swiss job search. You may not resell or transfer it to another person, or publish or distribute materials or frameworks we provide in connection with it, without our prior written permission.
9. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content, structure, written materials, assessment framework, graphics, branding and other original materials contained in Swiss Career Check, in the Diagnostic and in any materials we provide in connection with it, and on swisscareercheck.com are owned by MB Malkorita or used with appropriate permission.
All applicable intellectual property rights are reserved.
Short quotations or references may be permitted where allowed by applicable law, but substantial reproduction or commercial reuse requires prior written permission.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the website, our products or our services in a way that:
- violates applicable law;
- interferes with the operation or security of the website;
- attempts to gain unauthorized access to restricted systems or content;
- distributes malicious software or harmful material;
- infringes intellectual property or other rights.
Access may be restricted where there is reasonable evidence of misuse, fraud or unauthorized distribution of our products or materials.
11. Third-party services
Swiss Career Check uses third-party services to operate the website, process purchases and deliver the Diagnostic, including:
- Stripe, for payment processing;
- Cal.com, for appointment scheduling;
- Google Meet, for the online Diagnostic session.
We are not responsible for outages, technical failures or other circumstances caused solely by third-party systems outside our reasonable control. If such a failure prevents a booked Diagnostic session from taking place, we will offer you a replacement time as described in section 7.2(a).
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the relevant provider’s own terms and privacy policies. For how personal data is processed in connection with these services, see our Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Swiss Career Check and MB Malkorita are not liable for decisions, actions, losses or outcomes resulting solely from reliance on our products or services as a guarantee of employment or a substitute for professional advice.
This includes employment decisions, relocation decisions, applications, changes to your CV, LinkedIn profile or applications, salary negotiations, immigration decisions or other career-related decisions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, or affects any mandatory consumer right, including your statutory rights if a product or service is not supplied as described.
13. Privacy
Personal data collected through swisscareercheck.com, the purchase process and, for the Diagnostic, the intake, booking and session process, including the information and documents you submit, is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used and shared, including in connection with payments, analytics, advertising, communications and the Diagnostic.
You remain the owner of the documents and information you submit. We use them to prepare and deliver the Diagnostic, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you withdraw or confirm the request in the intake form, we keep your message or confirmation, the related emails and the date and time of each, as a record, for as long as we need them to handle refunds and claims and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
14. Changes to products and services
We may update Swiss Career Check, and the way the Diagnostic is delivered, from time to time to reflect changes in the Swiss job market, regulations, product structure or available information.
The exact content and presentation of our products and services may therefore evolve.
Material changes will not remove rights already acquired through a completed purchase where applicable. A Diagnostic you have already paid for will be provided substantially as described when you purchased it.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when our products, services, website, business operations or applicable requirements change.
The version applicable to your purchase is the version made available when you place your order, subject to mandatory applicable law.
The latest version will be published on this page with its last updated date.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
Any mandatory rights relating to jurisdiction or applicable law that you have as a consumer remain unaffected.
In particular, where applicable, consumers resident in the European Union may also rely on the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of their country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
